The real honeymoon will begin in Sababurg's Dornröschenschloss.
This 14th Century 'Sleeping Beauty' castle is now a hotel and restaurant, located within a nature preserve.
After Sababurg, we'll go south to Bamberg
(which is where Keeva went to high school!). We plan to spend most of our time here, as it is a nice central location. From Bamberg we can take day trips to Rothenburg, Bayreuth, Nürnberg, Coburg, etc, plus Michael will finally be able to see all of the things Keeva has been babbling about for so long!
The next stop will be Sorat Insel-Hotel in Regensburg
This hotel was formerly a manufactory,
and is located on an island in the Danube.
Our last stop will be Salzburg, Austria.
There we will be in the Royal Castle Mönchstein, which is now a 5-star hotel and restaurant. Along with Salzburg's Mozart attractions and salt mines, this castle will make Austria a lovely finish for our honeymoon.
